Pretty Table Setting

Pretty things!
Pastel colors, glass, antique silverware are the ingredients for this gorgeous table setting.

It could virtually work almost for anything...from a bridal shower to an afternoon tea, from an intimate wedding to a birthday party.

Pastel colors are always working together very nicely and the palette is easy to re-create:white,baby pink and aqua blue.

Tealight candles in simple glass jars could be easily displayed...the more, the better!

Plenty of cakes on this vintage and decadent dessert table.

Featuring a mini buttercream frill cake in shades of mint, an ombre layer cake with buttercream rosette swirls and an incredible fondant covered petal cake as the centerpiece.  Meringues, white chocolate covered cake pops, boxed favors...everything keeping up the theme.Peach, mint, and a pop of glod for this unusual color palette.

The menu' is simply amazing.

It's definitely a feast for the eyes and the palate!

Organic Wedding - Real Wedding Series

We are not supposed to have favorites...but we actually do...(!!) and this wedding is one of the most unique and amazing celebration of the year!
A wonderful and beautiful couple(both photographers), amazing crowd, breathtaking setting,eye-catching decorations and so much creativity!

Kristin, the bride:"The first photo are my shoes – from Anthropologieon my grandmas memorabilia box. For my wedding dress I knew that I wanted something simple but also something that made a statement. My mom actually found it for me the first time we went looking. My favorite detail about my dress is the ribbon that wraps from the front. And when it’s bustled, the back is absolutely adorable! I bought it from Mariposa Boutique in Anaheim. I’m not sure who the designer is."

"My hair piece was borrowed from a friend. She found it at Forever 21 on a headband and changed it to clips. I wore my grandmother’s earrings."

"We knew we wanted something different so we decided to use raw cotton throughout our wedding. We knew as soon as we met with Lauryl Lane that she knew exactly how to create what we were dreaming of, and she completed surpassed our expectations! Our favorite part of the florals were: cotton, balsa wood flowers, and the assorted sticks and pods. The ceremony took place at the Oak Canyon Nature Center and the reception was in a friend’s backyard. "

Honestly, there's no one single detail left behind. And still the celebration is keeping up the eco-rustic theme. So please never think again that "country-rustic-natural" cannot go along with "chic" as well!

Kristin continues"Our awesome programs made by the amazing and talented Lucy from D*LSH. She also did our invites too so you can check those out here. She did an awesome job!
The bridesmaids’ dresses were from Ruche and the flower on their dresses was from Anthropologie."

"We sponsored the construction of a water well to be drilled in Honduras this March and Kristin and I are actually going to physically drill the well along with Living Water Int’l. We had each of our guests right an encouraging note to the future well recipients as we are going to personally hand deliver the notes during our trip. The pencils they used to write the notes was part of their thank you gift."

"Our favorite detail of the wedding was our cotton! We were so excited when we decided that the main ingredient to our décor was going to be raw cotton. We couldn’t have loved how our floral designer Lauryl created amazing pieces from it any more! Also our s’more station around a fire pit… they are soooo yummy :) Also having Chipotle cater … we were their first wedding ever!!"

"Our wedding cake was simple and perfect! Topped with a little bouquet of our florals. In addition we had an assortment of mini desserts. The cake and all the sweets were by Melody of Sweet and Saucy Shop."

"The biggest challenge for us was the weather since our wedding was completely outdoors." (The week before their wedding, there was crazy weather her in California– an insane amount of rain, hail and even tornadoes!)
