Blue and white bridal shower

This bridal shower incorporates the summer in its elements.Fresh colors, white flowers, gorgeous outdoor location, created by Lollipops Events, great company delivering incredible settings and ideas.

This is how the designers describe their work:
"Prince Charming came into mind when we thought about the special groom-to-be, so only a Royal Affair was appropriate for this luxurious bridal shower. Inspired by the backdrop of the gorgeous ocean view, shades of blues ranging from cobalt and aqua to teal were blended with warm amber glassware, silver and gold for a truly opulent effect.

Crystals glistened in the sunlight hanging off of tiered cupcake stands that were used in lieu of vases. Each cupcake tier was topped of with a single white mum. Flower balls created out of clusters of various flowers including spider mums, garden roses, lisianthus and daisies were displayed on tall elegant glass vases.

Handmade Nepalese navy, teal and gold printed papers were lined with gold and aqua ribbons to create custom runners and napkin rings for each place setting while name tags in the same custom shape as the invitation were tied onto the backs of each chair.

Buckets of champagne and sparkling Italian sodas were served in hand blown blue champagne flutes accompanied by an array of juices such as blueberry (to match the party palette), pomegranate, and classic orange.

For additional interest and warmth blossoming prairie stems were clustered with spider mums in teal Portuguese glassware and amber bud vases, while the Queen’s royal ceramic horses stood guard on each end. To top off the level of luxury, oversized cobalt crystal diamonds were scattered atop the table.

Sweet confections in shades of blues accented with gold, silver and white danced atop vintage mirrored trays, lead cut crystal candy dishes and gold risers. Scrumptious vanilla cake pops were made with aqua frosting and topped with candy pearls alongside aqua colored blueberry cake pops with vanilla frosting and aqua sprinkles.

As a fun dessert centerpiece we created a jumbo cupcake topped with the initials of the bride-to-be, Prince Charming had never looked so sweet!"

We can only add that this is the perfect example of how an abstract idea can become a reality. From decor to food, everything is perfectly blended in a harmonious setting.

A new walk for the bride

Colored runners...seen them already everywhere.Today we're featuring something that will change the bride's walk forever!

Rose petal carpets...no,we're not talking about petals thrown on the floor. These are pieces of art.First of all, thousands of petals are used to get the perfect result.A thick, gorgeous carpet of flowers.

But these Nature's artists don't limit their fantasy. They create intricate mosaics and shapes playing with different petals' colors.

It seems a marble floor, but actually this is a flower carpet. This color palette could  perfectly work for an autumn wedding.

Here the Christian theme of the Crosses is made alternating white and red petals, while orange ones are creating a pattern on the sides.

This fresh yellow and green carpet could be used for a summer wedding.

Please note the tedious work. All the flowers must be on the same side and at the same distance one from each other.

What about arabesques? This oriental design was made for a fashion show dedicated to Asian Brides.

Fashion Photo Shoot by Elisabeth Messina - Part II

The journey into the romantic french style continues with the second part of Elisabeth Messina's photo shoot.

The best decoration for a sophisticated vintage affair is the use of everyday items in a wise and different way, giving them a new flair.A simple olive branch in a clear glass bottle,a ceramic bowl filled with candies...surprise your guests with something unexpected, not structured but spontaneous.

Size doesn't matter...this small bouquet in a bright red makes a statement.

Stunning hairdo.No pins,no flowers,no glitters but still so fascinating.It's a sculpture.

The most romantic bouquet ever.Sweet and innocent, kept together by a pink bow.The make up of the dreamy bride has to be the most natural one.

Another interesting detail:use everyday accessories as symbols. These keys could have different meanings...a secret treasure, the key to your hearth...try to guess what Elisabeth had in mind.

This powder blue headpiece with a single feather is unique. It's another beautiful option to skip the classic white.

Fashion Photo Shoot by Elisabeth Messina - Part I

What happens when big names in the wedding industry decide to work together?Easy...a wonderful creation is born.

This photo shoot is inspired by French countryside and blends together the elements for a perfect affair in the nature with a posh twist.

Instead of the  veil, the bride is wearing a retro headpiece with feathers. This could be great for horse races too!The bouquet is a symphony of pink, white and lilac.

Another bouquet, this time smaller but still it does make a statement.Romantic and chic.

The cake is adorned as a dress, with a cameo in the front. The light blue icing enhance the decorations.

Vintage style calligraphed invitations,on heavy pink paper.A gown that seems coming from another century for the romantic bride.

Sleek cut for this other gown, suitable for a skinny lady with a wonderful decollete'.

The table setting is elegant and rustic. The wooden table doesn't even need a tablecloth, candles and flowers create magnificent centerpieces.
