Easy and fun baby boy shower

A modern and sleek design for this intimate baby shower.
The color combination is great...different hues of brown,Tiffany blue and a touch of red, both in the patterns and in the food.

The designer behind this high-impact-low-budget wonder,Stephanie of Spaceship and Laserbeams, added little precious touches meaningful for the mum-to-be.The letter J,for example,is the initial letter of everyone in the family...including the baby on the way.Inspiration lies everywhere.

Vessels are simple white shoe boxes. The blue yarn is easy and versatile. The burlap fabric, used as a tablecloth and transformed by lovely hands into beautiful flowers.

On the menu there are yummy treats such as red velvet cookies,2 different cake options(why not?Carrot and black forest),red velvet cupcakes and healthy strawberries. To satisfy any taste, cucumber sandwiches on tomato bread, mediterranean hummus spirals, pesto asparagus puffs and Greek salad kebabs with oregano dip.

For the table setting,Stephanie alternated rectangular with square shapes:patterned runners and napkins(mixing and matching patterns could be risky, but here it just works perfectly).Burlap-clad white carnations and stylish favors are lovely.
